Palestinian students have been photographed performing Nazi salutes as part of a celebration for the PFLP terrorist organisation.

The students were part of Birzeit University in Ramallah and were celebrating the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of the anti-Israel terrorist group the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), according to Israellycool.

PFLP claims to be a “Marxist-Leninist and revolutionary socialist organisation” so it is odd that they are honouring the Nazis, a group of far-right fascists.

It could be the students were simply making a provocative statement or a taunt towards Israel. It could be a revelation that the anti-Semitism of the far-left is the same as the anti-Semitism of the far-right. Perhaps something else entirely. Either way, the Quds Network chose the image to display to their own following on their Arabic language Facebook page, deeming it a message they wanted to air in Arabic, but not in English.

Quds Network is run by Hamas, is blocked by the Palestinian Authority and had its Twitter account suspended earlier this year.
