Today marks three years since the world witnessed unimaginable evil being unleashed upon Israel.
On October 7th, 2023, Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups invaded Israel and murdered over 1,200 innocent men, women, and children. Families were burned alive. Young people were slaughtered at a music festival. Women were raped. Babies were taken hostage. This horrific attack was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. But even in the face of horror, Israel stood strong, defending her people and her promises.
Three years later, we remember all of the victims, and we honour the heroes.
Israel continues to fight valiantly against the odds; battling the evil of Islamist terror groups, thwarting the plans of rogue regimes, and confronting the lies of the enemy.
We knew back in 2023 that what we were witnessing would change the world. Today, we can see its impact as more nations and individuals turn against Israel. The false accusation of ‘genocide’ has stuck, as have the lies and smears of ‘ethnic cleansing’ and ‘apartheid.’ None of which could be further from the truth.
The attempted genocide was when Hamas invaded Israel and slaughtered innocent civilians. Those seeking ethnic cleansing are those marching in the streets chanting “From the River to the Sea”. Those who claim apartheid are those who advocate for a Middle East free from Jews.
Israel’s enemies and critics have not shown an ounce of mercy towards the Jewish people. Despite the evil that Israel faces daily, the IDF remains the most moral army in the world, and its people continue to seek peace with their neighbours.
We expected nothing less. We believe that Israel is a force for good in this world. We believe that God is using Israel as a light unto the nations. And we have witnessed Israel and her people proving themselves time and time again.
Our message to Israel remains the same: YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
CUFI is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Jewish people. We can see through the demonic deception of the enemy. We will not join in the cursing of Israel. Instead, we will continue to proclaim God’s truth over you and pray God’s blessings upon you.
We are Christians United for Israel, and we will not remain silent.
