British-based airline Wizz Air has announced it will be increasing flights to Israel next year.

The low-cost carrier announced an expansion at its Luton base, which included adding daily flights to Tel Aviv.

Wizz Air only started flying from the UK to Israel in June this year and currently flies to Tel Aviv on four days a week.

A spokesperson said the move would make Wizz Air “the largest low-cost operator operating in and out of Israel”.

The increase in flights has been made possible by the addition of four new Airbus A320 aircrafts, which will be part of the airline’s fleet by June 2018.
