You may have heard the mention of Jenin this week where Israeli forces have been conducting operations. This is the area that Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Aqla was killed on Wednesday during a gunfight between the IDF and Palestinian militants and where Israeli counter-terrorism officer Sgt. Maj. Noam Raz was killed on Friday. But why was the IDF operating in Jenin this week? Lt Col. Shefler of the IDF explains.
