Two Israeli women have been injured in a rock-throwing attack this week in the latest in Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilians.

The incident took place on Sunday evening as Jewish residents drove near the towns of Elon Moreh and Itamar in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank).

Moshe Cohen, who was driving the car, recalled the incident.

“While driving from Itamar to Elon Moreh, a huge stone shattered my windshield. My daughter’s friend, who was resting her head on a window, was injured as that window also shattered,” Cohen said.

“I kept driving as I was afraid of more rocks being thrown our way,” he added.

The head of the local council, Yossi Dagan, called on the Israeli government to allow the IDF to “significantly deter” the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Dagan said the PA “funds and incites terrorists in the West Bank”.

We call upon the UK Government to officially recognise Jerusalem is Israel's capital and move its embassy to Jerusalem.
