Assailant reportedly charges toward policemen with knife and pepper gas spray
An assailant with a sharp object was shot and neutralized in Jerusalem on Monday after running toward policemen and shouting “Allahu Akbar,” Hebrew-language outlet N12 reported.
The suspect, 30, was reportedly taken to the Hadassah University Hospital (Ein Kerem) in serious condition.
According to N12, the terrorist arrived from the neighborhood of East Talpiot, holding a container with pepper gas spray in one hand, a knife in the other. He was shot once in the stomach.
The Jerusalem stabbing attempt follows another stabbing attempt just hours earlier near Ramallah.
