“But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” – Amos 5:24

Pray for Jews in Britain
The Jewish community is under increasing pressure. More Jews are uncertain about their future living in the UK than ever before. We pray that God will protect the Jewish community and comfort them. We pray that Jews will seek the Lord and His promises to never forsake them. We pray that the Church recognise the importance of standing with Israel and the Jewish people. While we love to see Jews returning to the land of their forefathers, we pray it will be because their heart longs to return, not that fear is driving them away from our green isles.

Pray against injustice
We have witnessed yet another injustice, this time with our judicial system letting down the victims of violent anti-Israel hatred. We have witnessed a dismantling of justice from the top down in Britain. This is a watershed moment and we cannot be silent about it. We must pray that Britain’s institutions are protected from the clear spiritual warfare that is being waged. Britain’s soul is at stake and we pray the Church will wake up as the only answer to this problem is for Britain to get back to the Bible!

Pray for wisdom for US and Israeli leaders
This week Prime Minister Netanyahu warned the US not to trust Iran. The US is trying to revive peace talks with Iran to avert future conflict. We must pray that US leadership is not blindsided by the very real threat that the Iranian regime poses to Israel. We pray that God will give them wisdom as they hand Iran and the ongoing situation in Gaza.

Praise the Lord for the Pilgrimage Road
A positive this week is that the 2,000-year-old pilgrimage road, which originally ran from the Pool of Siloam up to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, was opened to the public. These are the literal steps that Jesus and His disciples walked. We thank God that He gave the Jewish people an innate desire to preserve history and tradition. The Bible is coming to life before our eyes because of Israeli ingenuity. Discoveries like these would not happen if the Jews were not back in their homeland. So we also praise the Lord for that too.
