There are plenty of prayer needs. Please join us in praying for the following:

– The Iranian people
Pray for the liberation of the Iranian people from the oppressive Iranian regime. Thousands of protesters have been murdered, simply for rising up and speaking out against the Islamic Republic’s regime. Whether liberation comes from US involvement or by some other means, pray against the strongholds of the Ayatollahs – that they will be humbled. Pray for those whose loved ones have been killed and that the killing will stop.– Wisdom for leaders
Pray that President Trump and the US administration will have wisdom in responding to the Iranian regime’s brutality.

– New campaign
For many years, CUFI UK has raised the alarm about the threat from the Iranian regime, through our ‘Operation Mordecai’ campaign. This week we launched a petition and MP-letter-writing campaign calling again for the UK to ban the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Pray that the UK will finally proscribe the IRGC. Currently, the IRGC is allowed to operate in Britain freely; people are able to show support for and raise finances for this terror group. This helps the Iranian regime and it is also a threat to the Jewish community in the UK and Britain’s national security.

– Voices of the Holocaust
Pray for the Voices of the Holocaust gatherings that CUFI supporters are holding in the coming weeks to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day. The packs have been distributed to help small groups in holding a remembrance that involves each person in the group reading a different first-hand account of someone impacted by the Holocaust. These are powerful testimonies, and our prayer is that valuable lessons in how we should respond to antisemitism today will be learned by those attending.

– CUFI Academy
This week CUFI UK announced the launch of CUFI Academy. We have a burden to train and equip the next generation of advocates for Israel. The courses are for 16-25 year-olds and involves self-study at home with weekly Zoom calls. Enrolment is now open. Our prayer is that young people will be blessed by the courses, be encouraged in their stand with Israel, and feel better prepared for whatever vocation they pursue. There is a battle for the hearts and minds of our young people, so we would appreciate your prayers for this new endeavour: that young people will sense a call to join the Academy; for the CUFI staff conducting the courses; that the educational material will prepare a generation that stands boldly with Israel and the Jewish people; and that the students who complete the course will be used by the Lord in advocating for Israel in the future.

“We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.”
