Alex and Alastair discuss the Church of England’s decision to legitimise the Kairos Palestine documents and to urge all Anglican Churches to engage with them. These documents are dangerous. They are founded on an unbiblical theology that denies the Jewish connection to the land of Israel, wrongly accuses Zionism as being “evil” and “sin” and demands that Zionists be “held accountable”. These documents do nothing for peace, but do everything to drive a wedge between Christians and Jews, and ultimately, between the Church and its Biblical roots. This erosion of the Judeo-Christian roots of both our faith and our nation must not be ignored.
