The FIFA World Cup is well underway in Qatar and there have been numerous stories on and off the pitch that have made media headlines. We have seen numerous times when Israelis have been treated badly whilst in Qatar. The video below highlights some of these stories.

Journalists are not supposed to be the story. However, since they have received anger, hatred and even threats of violence, it is important that their story is now reported.

While there has been hostility, it is also important to point out the good stories as well. Below is a video of an Israeli journalist being treated very well by Iranian football fans.

We often hear negative stories about the Iranian regime, especially when it comes to their leader’s plans to wipe Israel off the map. However, many Iranians are against their regime and it appears some of them are more than happy to be friends with Israelis.
