A Jewish family in Melbourne has been the victim of a targeted attack after a swastika was painted onto a car parked outside their home.
Moorabbin police say the blue emblem was plastered onto a 2000 Honda Civic left outside a home in East Bentleigh sometime about 11.40am on 16 March.
Acting Sergeant Peter O’Donoghue believed it was a targeted attack in a street known for vandalism sprees.
“Unfortunately fingerprint checks have not brought up any results,” Acting Sgt O’Donoghue said.
He said two other cars had also been defaced in the street about a year ago.
Chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission Dvir Abramovich condemned the attack on the Jewish family in a statement to Leader.
