Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara have sent their congratulations to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Fiancee Carrie Symonds after the birth of their first child together.

Ms Symonds gave birth to a “healthy baby boy” on Wednesday morning, a spokeswoman for the couple announced. Further details, including the baby’s name, have yet to be revealed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent his best wishes to Boris Johnson.

He tweeted: “Sara and I send our warmest congratulations to British Prime Minister @BorisJohnson and @carriesymonds on the birth of your son.

“Wishing him and the people of Britain a healthy and prosperous future.”
