A Jewish family was subjected to an anti-Semitic attack, including death threats and eggs being thrown at their car, as they drove through London in the early hours of Friday morning.

A 28-year-old orthodox Jewish man was driving with his family, including a young baby, through London’s Blackwall Tunnel on the early hours of Friday morning, when the four occupants of a car driving alongside them began shouting vile racist death threats and threw eggs at their car.

The London branch of Shomrim, a Jewish volunteer neighbourhood patrol organisation, said the men shouted “****ing Jews” and “Kill the Jews” at the family.

Following the intervention by Shomrim, police officers from Tower Hamlets stopped a vehicle and made a number of arrests shortly after the incident. The four men were aged between 20 and 22. Three suspects have subsequently been given police cautions for their actions, after they admitted carrying out the anti-Semitic attack.
