Here is a special message for Christians from Pastor John Hagee, the founder and chairman of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), following the Bondi Beach terror attack.
On Sunday, we witnessed yet another monstrous attack at the hands of vile Jew haters. As the Jewish community gathered in Sydney, Australia, for a Hanukkah lighting, gunmen opened fire on children, women, and men, killing 15 people and wounding many more. Among the confirmed victims were a ten-year-old girl and Holocaust survivor who was reported to have been shot and killed while shielding his wife during the attack.
On a night set apart to commence celebrations of the miracle of Hanukkah, the Jewish community instead left mourning the deadly attack in Bondi Beach. Yet, even in moments of this unspeakable darkness, we cling to the truth that light will overcome the darkness.
If there was ever a time the Christian light should be shining, it’s right now. If there was ever a time to shut down the mouth of every antisemite, it’s right now.
The senseless bloodlust of Israel’s enemies will not go unchallenged. We stand here today, boldly and eternally, with the Jewish State and God’s people.
Please join us in praying for the Jewish community in Sydney, Australia, and for all those precious lives that this horrific attack has impacted.
For Jerusalem’s sake, we will not be silent, and we will not hold our peace. We are in a fight, and we are going to win this fight. May God bless you for standing with Israel and the Jewish people.
