Psalm 121:3 says, “He will not suffer, or allow, your foot to be moved.” The Hebrew word for ‘moved’, or slip, in this verse is mowt (pronounced mote).

This word mowt carries the meaning of being greatly shaken, to totter, to overthrow. In other words, He will not allow you to be shaken.

“Nations are being shaken. Societies are being shaken. Governments and regimes are being shaken. Over recent times, the world which we know has been experiencing a great shaking and this shaking of the nations looks set to continue and increase. But remember, even if there is shaking all around you, the God of Israel will not allow your foot to be moved. He will not allow you to be shaken.”

The keeper of Israel is also your keeper. Likewise, your keeper is also the keeper of Israel. In the same way He hasn’t broken everlasting promises towards Israel, He will not break His promises to you.

In this week’s Bible teaching, CUFI’s Alastair Kirk brings us part 2 of thoughts on Psalm 121, in which we are reminded that the Creator of the Universe, who is the source of our help, will not allow our foot to be moved.

“He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:3-4)

Today's teaching is on Psalm 121:3-4 and is an example of how God will never break His promises to us."Our promise making God is a promise keeping God. There isn't a promise that he cannot, will not or does not keep." Trust in Him today!#WatchAndPray #TrustGod #CUFI
