“Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion”
Prime Minister Netanyahu wrote this Scripture from Numbers 23:24 and placed it in the Western Wall when he prayed there hours before Israel launched’ Operation Rising Lion’.
Taking inspiration from Israel’s Prime Minister, here are seven Scriptures that we can arm ourselves with as Israel defends itself from the Iranian regime. Israel’s PM led by example by not entering battle before calling upon the One whom goes before Israel. As we enter into battle on behalf of Israel through prayer, we ask the Lord to lead.
As watchmen on the walls, declare these Scriptures with confidence that God keeps all of His promises, and believe that with God’s strength and wisdom, Israel will have the victory. Pray for Israel’s protection; pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders; pray that no weapon formed against Israel will prosper, and pray ‘for the peace of Jerusalem’.
Numbers 23:24
“Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, And lift up himself as a young lion: He shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, And drink the blood of the slain.”
Psalm 20:1-2
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
