God makes it clear in Scripture that He will judge the nations based on how they treat Israel.
The UK government is seemingly moving further away from Israel as each week passes. It is being misguided by biased rulings in kangaroo courts and is foolishly turning a blind eye to those funding the terrorists who want to destroy Israel.
These anti-Israel attitudes are spilling out on British streets. A school bus filled with Jewish school children was attacked by teens from another school who shouted antisemitic abuse and phrases about Israel. Jewish children feared for their safety because of the hatred being bred through social media and in the classroom as false information about Israel spreads and people are deceived.
Our nation needs help, and we are not going to find solutions in the world, its biased committees, and misguided government officials who lack Biblical revelation. The Bible is the solution to our nation’s problems and we must stand firm on God’s Word and declare the truth.
The nation that blesses Israel will be blessed. The nation that curses Israel will be cursed. We must pray our nation changes course.
With this in mind here are the prayer points:
- Pray for the UK government to turn away from its anti-Israel agenda. Pray that Godly men and women will influence our leaders and reveal to them the truth about Israel.
- Pray for the Church in Britain to arise. We need Christian leaders to take a stand for Israel in public. We cannot defend the Bible when we are silent. The Church must be a light in the darkness.
- Pray against the false teaching of Replacement Theology which is deceiving too many Christians into hating Israel and robbing them of a deeper understanding of their faith and the plans of God. Pray that there will be an awakening in the Church for Biblical truth.
- Pray for Israel. It is increasingly becoming isolated in the world, just as the Bible foretold. Pray that God will reveal Himself to His people. That they will seek Him and trust in Him alone. Pray too that the Jewish people will understand the genuine love that Christians have for them.
