We have been praying continually for the release of the hostages, now

They are coming home, the final 48.
But tragically, only 20 are expected to be living.

Hamas’s barbarism has used the 48 as cruel bargaining chips.
Now, both the living and the deceased must be returned immediately,

Who can trust Hamas? No one.
They must put down their weapons and accept their defeat.
They have wickedly afflicted the Jewish people. Their fate is already written.

Families await, braced with cautious optimism.
We will celebrate with you when this awaited day arrives.
Your joy will be our joy.

For some families this momentous occasion will be one of mourning,
Comforted only by the return of their loved ones bodies.

Beyond their return home, will be the start of needed healing,
From the tunnels of torture, and the inflicted trauma, heal them Lord.
Heal them with strengthened bones and renewed minds.

Let You mercy, Lord, be upon these precious lives.
We pray for full restoration. For a future that is brighter than today.

Delivered from the grips of terror, may they discover joy in the Land of the Living.
Your thoughts towards them are peace and not evil, giving them “a future and a hope”

From out of darkness, awaits a new morning in Zion.
From out of Hamas’s pit of hell, awaits a Land flowing with milk and honey.

We promise to not stop praying until all the hostages come home.
And even then, we will never cease to pray for them.
Your people will be our people, our God is your God.

We promise to never be silent, for Zion’s sake,
“until her righteousness goes forth as brightness”

The hostages return will close a chapter,
But a new chapter for Israel awaits; at this time incomplete, but destiny-written.
“My people will dwell in peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places”, says the Lord.
