A Jewish community near Miami, Florida has been targeted by anti-Semitic vandals who smashed and vandalised over 20 vehicles that were parked in an area close to three synagogues.
The attack is said to have taken place on Saturday morning and was in Northeast Miami-Dade.
The rabbi at Young Israel of Greater Miami said the person or people responsible likely knew that the vehicles belongs to members of the Jewish community.
Rabbi Lehrfeld told 7News that the vandals “went all the way down the block” smashing cars.
“They completely smashed our cars,” said another person.
When asked if he’d witnessed anything like this before, Rabbi Lehrfeld replied, “Never before.”
Miami-Dade police and North Miami Beach Police are investigating, but there is no surveillance footage of the incident.
Nothing was taken from the cars, but it has shaken the community who are now praying that those responsible will be caught.
