This week started with the sad news that yet more Israeli civilians were gunned down in cold blood by Palestinian terrorists. The cycle of violence continues because of extremist Palestinian terror groups and those who incite them.

On Sunday, two Israeli brothers were driving in their car through the Palestinian town of Huwara when a terrorist pulled up beside them and opened fire with a handgun. The brothers, Hallel Yaniv, 21, and Yagel Yaniv, 19, were killed in the attack.

The terrorist fled the scene and is now on the run. The IDF has launched a search to find him but has so far been unsuccessful.

Below is a video report of the funeral which reveals just how heartbroken the family is at the loss of their loved ones.

The third civilian was killed on Monday night when two Palestinian terrorists shot and killed 27-year-old Israeli American Elan Ganeles. The gunmen, who are thought to have carried out a number of other shootings in the area, fled the scene towards Jericho when Israeli police attempted to stop them.

No other people were hurt in the subsequent shootings and the terrorists are still on the run.

The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday morning said troops detained eight suspects during overnight raids across Judea and Samaria (West Bank), marking the first such operation in nearly a week.

This is yet another week of violence from Palestinian terrorists who are killing innocent civilians simply because they are Jews living in the land of Israel.

Shamefully, a lot of media attention was taken away from these victims this week when a group of outraged Israelis took out their frustration on cars and homes in Huwara. In that town, a scrap yard filled with cars was set ablaze and a number of houses were damaged by fire. There were also skirmishes between Israelis and Palestinians and a Palestinian was killed.

We at CUFI do not condone violence from any side. We want to see peace between Israel and the Palestinians. We must take a Biblical position on these things and not give in to emotion. Kasim Hafeez explains this in more detail in the video below:

It is important to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. The reason any of this happened is because of hatred towards Israel. It is what drove terrorists to kill Jews, and it is what drives biased media reporting.

The driving force of this conflict is an antisemitic hatred of the Jewish people and the opposition to Jews living in the land that God gave them.
