A man has been arrested for shouting anti-Semitic abuse in north London, including making a reference to “gas chambers.”
He was was arrested for a “racially aggravated public order offence” on Clapton Common according to the Metropolitan Police, before midnight on Saturday.
After being followed by volunteer neighbourhood watch group Shomrim, the police in Hackney said he was taken to a police station in north London.
