News that Liz Truss has resigned as Prime Minister may seem like a set back in our hopes that Britain will move its embassy to Jerusalem. We would like to thank Liz Truss for being the first British Prime Minister since the establishment of the State of Israel to seriously consider moving the UK embassy.
This is an unprecedented moment for the UK, as we once again face a change of Prime Minister.
But this fact does not change: Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capital of Israel.
Jerusalem has been capital for the Jewish people for over 3,000 years. It is capital today as designated by the sovereign state of Israel. And Jerusalem will still be the capital of Israel tomorrow.
Prime Ministers come and go, but the will of God does not change. Let us press on with confidence that we will be the generation that sees Britain move the embassy to Israel’s capital.
Our ‘UK Pledge for Jerusalem’ will remain in place and adapt when the new PM is appointed. We will continue to urge the UK government to move the British Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and will continue our petition calling on the new Prime Minister to take up this cause.
Thank you for standing with us in solidarity and in faith, believing that this is the right thing for the UK to do.
Pray for our nation, for Zion’s sake,
Des Starritt

We call upon the UK Government to officially recognise Jerusalem is Israel's capital and move its embassy to Jerusalem.
