A Jewish woman was strangled in a violent antisemitic attack as she carried a baby in a London street.

The incident, which is being treated by police as racially motivated, happened in broad daylight near the Seven Sisters Underground station in north London on Monday afternoon.

The woman (reports are not clear whether the victim was the baby’s mother) was walking down the street when the attacker grabbed her by the throat. A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody.

The woman, who is in her 50s, did not require hospital treatment.

According to London’s Metro news, witnesses have also told of a number of other assaults on Jewish women within a short period of time.

This year, we want to do more to bless Israel and the Jewish people.

We know that as we bless Israel this year, God will bless us, just as He promised in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Now is the time to bless Israel and the Jewish people.
