Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations slammed the Palestinian Authority this week calling them “shameless liars” and accused them of anti-Semitism in a UN Security Council meeting this week.

The Palestinian envoy to the UN was first to speak and took the opportunity to promote his anti-Israel propaganda that is rife from the PA at these meetings. Playing the victim, Mansour spoke of 53-years of “dispossession, deprivation and oppression” and said the Coronavirus pandemic has “only further highlighted the absurdity, immorality and illegality of Israel’s crimes”.

He said these things despite the United Nations own envoy to the Middle East praising Israel and the Palestinians for cooperation during the pandemic.

Danon responded strongly, saying “how dare you slander our efforts? How dare you lie about the brave soldiers of the IDF? How dare you blame them of the spreading the virus? They risk their lives to contain the outbreak for both Israelis and Palestinians.”

“Not only are your accusations shameless lies, but they are anti-Semitic. You should be ashamed of yourself. You should apologize for what you have said. You have made it clear that you prefer to hate Israel more than help the Palestinian people,” Danon said.

“The Palestinian Authority would like to have their cake and eat it too. They happily accept any and all assistance from Israel and expect it to continue even as they incite against us and spread anti-Semitic libel,” he said.

He said that Israel has allowed 600 tons of medical supplies into the Gaza Strip in recent weeks, and highlighted coordination between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Israel has been going above and beyond to help the Palestinians in this time of need whilst the Palestinian Authority has kept promoting anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda and inciting their people to violence. This has resulted in terrorist attacks against Israelis even during this pandemic.

It is time the United Nations stopped pandering to the anti-Semitism of the Palestinian Authority and other members within the global body.
