Negotiations are currently taking place in Vienna involving Iran, Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia, as well as the US indirectly. The aim is to return the US to the nuclear deal, including through the lifting of sanctions on Iran. Apparently, France has demanded that Iran has days to accept a deal, warning that a major crisis would be unleashed if there is no agreement
Meanwhile, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah told his followers on Wednesday that with Iran’s assistance, the terror group has the ability to reengineer thousands of rockets as precision-guided weapons. Hezbollah is believed to have over 150,000 rockets in its arsenal. Last week Iran itself unveiled a new rocket with a range that could reach Israel and US bases in Syria. As international partners meet in Vienna, these are yet more reminders that Iran must not be allowed to pursue its nuclear weapon ambitions. Israel’s PM, Naftali Bennett presented Israel’s position to Germany last week, saying that cutting a deal with Tehran would be a mistake and would put the entire Middle East at risk.
