The Bible says that God will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. NOW is the time to echo this warning across the land and to all nations of the earth. Restless antisemites have “lifted up their head” (Psalm 83). After years of conspiring against Israel, in the past few months Israel’s enemies have come together in unholy union to say “let us cut them off from being a nation so that Israel may be remembered no more.”
They chose to poke the apple of God’s eye. They chose to touch God’s beloved. They chose to substitute peace for war. They knowingly awakened the Lion of Judah. Now the lion has ROARED.
Nations have sipped Jerusalem’s cup of drunkenness. They have been smitten by the father of lies. They have loved darkness more than they have loved light. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
Our British shores will not escape God’s wrath unless we heed God’s warning and stand with the Jewish people. Our government has preferred the lion sleeping and not roaring. It has made covenants with those who wish to do Israel harm. Our tongue has become forked. We pay respect with our lips, but our hearts are hardened. We have been silent when antisemites call for Israel’s destruction on Britain’s streets. We have turned the other way when Islamists have declared to us their intent. We have quietly made statutes against Israel. We have pacified those who disdain Israel and failed to protect our Jewish community.
Church WAKE UP and stand up for the truth! Preachers preach God’s love for Israel from the pulpit. Christian young people, stand firm in the barrage of online deception. Christians, raise God’s banner for Zion across this land. The established church in Britain has succumbed to the deception of replacement theology. Last week’s announcement by the Archbishop of Canterbury was a watershed moment for our nation. As this country imploded in civil unrest, the leader of the Church of England leveled accusation against Israel. Like an ancient trope of Christians blaming Jews, he blamed Israel for the woes of Palestinian Christians. He called for the removal of Israel from the Judea and Samara, the heartland of the Jewish nation promised by God, and of Jerusalem, the undivided, capital of the Jewish people. And he gave unconditional support for every action taken against Israel by the ICC.
