An urgent appeal to the UK government against recognising a Palestinian state.

We, the undersigned, strongly oppose any move by the UK government to recognise a Palestinian state. Such recognition would reward terrorism, embolden extremism, undermine Israel’s security, and place Britain in opposition to the Word of God.

Peace is not built on a foundation of antisemitism

From Hamas to the Palestinian Authority, antisemitism is not a fringe issue in the Palestinian territories, it is mainstream and institutionalised.

Hamas’s charter calls for the extermination of Jews globally as well as the destruction of Israel. The Palestinian Authority glorifies terrorism, names streets after murderers, and pays salaries to terrorists through its ‘Pay to Slay’ scheme. Both indoctrinate their populations through school textbooks, media, religious sermons, and political speeches.

The result? The October 7th massacre — the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. An attack that was supported by the vast majority of Palestinians in both the West Bank and Gaza.

And yet, in the aftermath of such unimaginable brutality, the international community’s proposes to reward Israel’s enemies with a state.

This is not diplomacy. It is moral bankruptcy.

A Palestinian state today will be a terror state tomorrow

Gaza is a prime example of this. Israel withdrew entirely from Gaza in 2005. Israel gave up land for peace; the world hoped for peace, but instead Hamas turned Gaza into a hotbed of terror.

Hamas took over Gaza with the support of the Palestinian people. They built terror tunnels, rocket making facilities, and ruled the enclave with an iron fist. They used Gaza as a staging ground for dozens of terror offensives against Israel and launched thousands of rockets at Israeli civilians. Hamas leaders say this would not have been possible if Israel had retained a presence in the Strip, and polls show that Hamas remains the most popular political party amongst Palestinians.

A sovereign Palestinian state would not end this cycle of violence, it would escalate it. History would be doomed to repeat itself. A terror regime would take over and be a threat to Israel and regional stability.

This applies to both Gaza and the West Bank, which is the very heart of the Jewish homeland, Judea and Samaria. Again, this poses a significant risk to Israel’s security, presenting a strategic advantage to Israel’s enemies that could lead to a similar scenario experienced on October 7th.

The Two State Delusion

The so-called “Two-State Solution” is not a path to peace. It’s a global delusion.

Palestinian leaders say they want a state, but not alongside Israel. Their chant is “From the river to the sea,” meaning they want Israel wiped out, and multiple polls show a majority of Palestinians reject Israel’s right to exist.

This is not a vision for coexistence. It is a blueprint for Israel’s elimination. The ultimate purpose of the Palestinian cause is not to give the Palestinians a state, but to take away the state from the Jews. It is antisemitic to its core.

Bible truth must not be ignored

Palestinian state recognition is not only a mistake politically, it is also an offence Biblically.

The Bible declares that the land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people. God gave the land to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob forever.

Christians and Jews believe that God has planted the Jewish people in their land and that His covenant with Israel still stands.

“’I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,’ says the Lord your God.” (Amos 9:15)

God warned of the consequences for any nation that tries to divide His land.

“I will gather all nations… and I will enter into judgement with them… on account of My people Israel… They have also divided up My land.” (Joel 3:2)

Britain’s current foreign policy is to recognise a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, which is exactly what the Bible warns against. God has made Jerusalem a heavy stone for all nations and everyone who tries to pick it up (or divide it up) will injure themselves.

“I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces…” (Zechariah 12:3)

We are raising the alarm

Israel is the land of promise, given by God to the Jewish people, and Jerusalem is their eternal and indivisible capital. These truths are not up for negotiation. Britain is being challenged to either stand up for Judeo Christian values or stand against the God of the Bible.

This petition is a an urgent intervention to bring the UK government back from the brink.

We therefore strongly urge the UK government:
DO NOT RECOGNISE A PALESTINIAN STATE

Don’t reward terrorism.

Don’t give antisemites a seat at the table of nations.

Don’t legitimise antisemitic ideology masked as diplomacy.

Don’t empower Israel’s enemies.

Don’t endanger Israel’s security.

Don’t undermine Israel’s sovereignty.

Don’t divide the land God gave to the Jewish people.

Don’t trample on the covenant God made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Don’t defy the Word of God.

Don’t touch Jerusalem, the city God has set apart as His own.

Don’t erode Britain’s Judeo-Christian foundations.

Don’t provoke God’s judgement on the UK.
