A Jewish man was the victim of a vicious anti-Semitic attack outside a Jewish centre in Dnepropetrovsk.

The attack happened near the “Menorah Center” in Dnepropetrovsk, a town located southeast of the capital Kiev. The “Menorah Center” is the largest Jewish community centre in the world.

As the victim walked near the the centre, two men approached him and began to hurl anti-Semitic abuse at him. They then punched the man and threw him to the ground, kicking him while he was on the floor.

Other Jewish men in the area came to the man’s aid after hearing his shouts for help. The suspects fled the scene and were not apprehended. The man received minor injures and was treated in hospital.

A police investigation is under way.
