A London man, Stuart Birnie, has been sentenced to six months in prison for an anti-Semitic tirade in which he threatened a Jewish man and said he would “kill all the Jews”.

The incident took place last December when Mr Birnie saw a Jewish man walking down the street. Mr Birnie crossed the road and started shouting at the man, “Oi you go **** yourself. I’m going to kill all the Jews”. He then yelled about Jews having too many children before threatening the man saying “I will kill you and all the Jews.”

Shromrim, the Jewish volunteer neighbourhood watch, tracked down the man and called the police to have him arrested. He has reportedly said other things regarding the Jews, including referring to community in Stamford Hill as “epidemic”.

Mr Birnie was sentenced to six months in prison starting immediately.
