A large bomb was discovered and detonated by the IDF at a checkpoint in Herbon on Friday.
The discovery of the bomb was made after Palestinian security passed information to the Israeli forces. The bomb was found at the checkpoint, on the side controlled by the Palestinians.
It was safely detonated by sappers from the Israel Police bomb squad on Friday night, Israeli officials confirmed. And a video of the detonation was posted online. The video shows a large explosion that produced a massive fireball as Palestinian onlookers yell “Allahu akbar”.
A suspect from the northern West Bank village of Salfit was arrested by Palestinian officials in relation to the device.
