Dozens of homes and cars have been vandalised with anti-Semitic, anti-Christian and pro-ISIS graffiti in the Dutch town of in Voorburg.

An elementary school was among the vandalism in the south Holland town with slogans including “Jews will die”, “7 September 2016 attack” and expletives directed at Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

Also appearing in graffiti was the ‘N’ symbol, which indicates the targeting of Christians. N’, or ن in Arabic, is the symbol used by the Islamic State (IS or ISIS) to identify who is a Nazarene – a Christian. It has been drawn on doorways and in front of houses in captured Iraqi cities, allowing militants to quickly assert where the loyalties of the inhabitants lie. Thousands of people have since taken the symbol and reversed its meaning – using it to express solidarity with Iraqi Christians.
