Dabrina Bet-Tamraz, an Assyrian Christian from Iran, has both parents and brother facing lengthy jail sentences for church-related activities. Her father, a pastor, is appealing the sentence after being arrested for evangelism and holding illegal house church activities.

Dabrina shared her story this week at the first ever religious freedom summit held by a US president at the United Nations, where she told of more than 200 Christians that have been arrested in Iran for their faith since 2018 and are serving harsh sentences.
