The Bible is foundational in our support for Israel. We often say, “standing with Israel is not a political issue, it is a Bible issue.” We are living in a world that has largely positioned itself against Israel, because it opposes God’s Holy Word. Thankfully, there are Christians worldwide who believe that Israel has a special place in God’s heart and that He has not “forsaken His people whom He foreknew”. Here at CUFI, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Jewish people and ‘for Zion’s sake’ we will not keep silent.
It is incredibly important, therefore, that we defend what the Bible says about Israel. CUFI UK’s latest Torch magazine, available for free, includes an article, “Attack on Covenants”, which continues our Debunking Replacement Theology series. The Bible tells us that God has made several covenants. In the age in which we are living, all of God’s covenants are being systematically targeted by Satan and must be defended. Satan is determined to destroy God’s plans and undermine His promises. Thankfully, we serve a God who is faithful to keep all His promises. His covenants provide so much hope for Israel, for Christians, and for the world.
Our article, “All Roads Lead to Jerusalem,” explains the common denominator among Israel’s enemies – their desire to take Jerusalem and ethnically cleanse the city and the land of Israel of Jews. The Bible describes Jerusalem as a “cup of drunkenness” and a “heavy stone”. We explain how this can be applied in the current context and show why defending Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish people is so important in our support for Israel. Meanwhile our article, “The Glorification of terror” highlights how support for these terror groups is growing in the West and why it is a problem that cannot be ignored.

Did you know that Mattel, the company that made Barbie and Hot Wheels, was founded by a Jewish couple that supported Israel? It’s a wonderful example of the amazing Jewish contribution to the toy industry, and an unwelcome revelation for the Israel-boycotters!
