This October, CUFI will be commemorating one year since the October 7th terror attacks against Israel. We are inviting churches, prayer groups and families to set time aside on or near to October 7th to remember the atrocities, the victims, and their families. For example, some churches might decide to dedicate time during their Sunday 6th October service to commemorate.
We have provided a number of downloadable resources to help groups and individuals mark the day, including a dedicated Reading for Prayer & Reflection.
We also have a commemorative October 7th candle available to request with a donation.
There is also an opportunity to let CUFI know what you have planned, so that we can demonstrate to the Jewish community that there are Christians nationwide standing with them and with Israel during this time and always.
HOW TO GET STARTED
1. Choose the day and time and inform those who will be commemorating with you. (ie. your church service or prayer group)
2. Visit www.cufi.org.uk/October7 to download resources including CUFI’s Reading for Prayer & Reflection and order your candle (optional).
3. Consider letting CUFI know what you are planning (optional).
