A Palestinian woman attempted to commit a vehicular attack just outside the community of Adam, a few kilometers northeast of Jerusalem, as she drove into a police vehicle at the entrance of the community on Tuesday.
“I saw a private vehicle that had rammed into a police vehicle at the gate of the community,” said EMT Michael Cohen of United Hatzalah, an emergency medical response organization.
Three civilians along with the attacker were injured and are currently receiving medical treatment.
“The attacker injured three civilians who have been evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment,” an IDF spokesperson said in a statement. “The assailant is being treated and questioned at the scene.”
According to Cohen, the three victims sustained nothing more than light injuries.
