A Palestinian terrorist opened fire at a café in Tel Aviv, wounding three Israelis on Thursday evening, one of them critically with a gunshot wound to the neck and a further two in a serious condition.
The terrorist, a member of Hamas who was inside Israel without a permit, was killed by an off-duty special forces police officer.

The three men, who were friends and in their 30s, had been on their way to a wedding when they were ambushed by the Palestinian terrorist outside of a coffee shop on the corner of Dizengoff Street and Ben Gurion Street.
Or Asher, 32, was hospitalised in critical condition at the emergency care ward at Ichilov Hospital after sustaining a reportedly life-threatening wound to the neck.
Rotem Mansano, 34, had also been admitted to hospital in serious condition to an emergency neurosurgery ward.
Both Asher and Mansano were sedated and breathing through a respirator.
Michael Osdon, 36, suffered light to moderate wounds, and was brought to a hospital’s plastic surgery ward and is now awaiting cosmetic procedures.
Osdon told reporters for Channel 13 news: “The terrorist fired, but I was able to move my head and evade the bullet, which hit my cheek. The terrorist fired another bullet at one friend, then the other. He tried to shoot me again, and then I ran to an ice cream store nearby to call rescue services,
“I was wounded relatively lightly. I am waiting for some cosmetic procedures. Please pray for my friends,”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is currently on an official visit to Rome, was updated moments after the attack. Meeting with local Jewish leaders, Netanyahu said:
“During this meeting there was a very serious attack in Tel Aviv, a terrorist attack. First of all, I want to send in my name, in the name of wife and the people of Israel, wishes for a fast recovery to the injured.”
He added: “Second, we are strengthening the action of the police and security forces against the terrorists, even this evening and everywhere. I am sure that these things will not weaken our determination to continue building our country, to plant deep roots in our homeland and to secure our common future.”
Al-Khawaja, reportedly a member of Hamas and who had previously been jailed twice in Israel, was from the West Bank town of Ni’lin and had no entry permit to be in the country.
Israeli and Palestinian media sources reported large-scale celebrations of the attack in Jenin and Gaza.

This year, we want to do more to bless Israel and the Jewish people.
We know that as we bless Israel this year, God will bless us, just as He promised in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Now is the time to bless Israel and the Jewish people.
