The UK must support Israel in their defence – please email your MP

Israel’s pre-emptive strikes are not directed at the people of Iran. They are against the Iranian regime’s existential threat to the State of Israel. But Israel’s military action is not only a matter of national survival; Israel is defending us all.

Israel has called their operation ‘Rising Lion’. But we must not allow Israel to stand alone. It is time for the British lion to awaken out of her slumber and give our full support to Israel in their defence against Iranian terror.

One of the ways the UK government can do this is by banning the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It is shameful that this hasn’t already happened. Please take a moment to send an email with CUFI’s suggested wording to your MP (with copy to the Home Office).

The IRGC represents a serious threat to UK citizens, especially members of the British Jewish community, UK nationals connected to Israel, and broader UK interests across the Middle East and Gulf region. It provides weapons, funding, and training to terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Houthis. The IRGC’s Quds Force actively promotes Iran’s revolutionary ideology and seeks Israel’s destruction, referring to it as a “cancerous tumour” that must be “eradicated.”

Please act now. We must show Israel that the UK truly stands with them as ‘Lions together’ at this crucial moment in history.
