History is repeating itself. The world failed the Jewish people during the Holocaust and the world is failing the Jewish people today. The difference today is that the Jewish people have the State of Israel, which will do everything in its power to protect them.
If there is anything Israel learned since October 7th, it is that it stands alone against evil. No one else will fight their battles. In fact, most will side with whoever is against them.
We are witnessing an orchestrated campaign of misinformation against Israel aimed at tarnishing Israel’s image. It is the largest smear campaign since the Holocaust, and shamefully it is working. The biased narratives and outright lies are fuelling antisemitism against Jews and hatred towards Israel globally.
You cannot turn on the news or browse social media without hearing something negative about Israel.
Shockingly, some Christians are espousing the same antisemitic narratives as those who hate Israel. Some sermons from pulpits mimic the same ungodly speeches from anti-Israel activists on the streets. If the Church is preaching the same message as the world, then we have big problems.
Christians must realise that Israel is not an abstract theological concept or a distant political issue—it is a real nation that God loves. Israel is locked in a battle of good against evil. Satan is actively trying to destroy Israel, and he is craftily deceiving the Church, weakening support for Israel when it should be at its strongest.
Christians United for Israel UK is at the forefront of defending Israel against this deception. We will not allow lies and deception to go unchallenged, especially within the Church. Thankfully, God is opening doors for CUFI to speak in different parts of the country. There are several churches who are opening their doors to CUFI so we can share God’s love for Israel and the Jewish people.
We are in a spiritual battle. The only way to counter Satan’s lies is by proclaiming the truth of God’s Word. We must fight against this on our knees in prayer and speak out boldly against the forces of darkness with the light of truth.
