“Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise,

This week we have looked back at three years since that fateful day on 7 October 2023. We have remembered the horrors of that day and thought back on the events that have taken place over these three long years.
Despite everything that has happened, we have to say, praise the Lord!
Yes, there are hardships; Israel has been fighting an eight-front war for the past three years, but despite all the forces working against it, Israel is not just surviving; it is thriving.
We know that Israel’s success is because God is watching over His people, Israel. That’s the only possible explanation. After all, the world is a much more hostile place for Israel. There is growing antisemitism throughout the world. Israel has fewer friends today on the global stage. Israel’s allies are sanctioning and boycotting her, while her enemies are hating with even more venom than ever before. And the global smear campaign is working in overdrive.
Despite all of this, there is nothing that the world can do to thwart God’s plans. As the Bible says, “If God is for us, no one can stand against us” (Romans 8:31).
Israel’s secret weapon is not only that they have nowhere else to go, as Prime Minister Netanyahu said last week, but more importantly, they have no one else to turn to. He is the only one who can save them.
Prayer Points:
Praise the Lord: Praise the Lord that Israel lives! Praise the Lord that Israel is overcoming its enemies! Praise the Lord that Israel has secure borders. Praise the Lord that the hostages are free! Praise the Lord that Israel is healing! Praise the Lord that He will neither leave nor forsake Israel!
Pray for Israel: We must continue to pray for Israel’s leaders as they manage the variety of challenges facing Israel, and for the people of Israel to have resilience in the face of growing pressures. The world is a different place from three years ago, but we know the future for Israel is bright.
Pray for CUFI: We are continuing to speak out for Israel, and as well as joining with many Christians who are supporting our work, we also face many people who oppose us. Please pray that our ministry will grow, that thousands more will come to know the truth through our work. Pray for an increase in supporters who help sustain the ministry through prayer and giving. Pray for protection over the CUFI UK team. Also, please pray that CUFI will be a blessing to the Jewish people.
