This week we are giving thanks to God for the bold action of the government of Papua New Guinea which chose to honour their creator by opening an embassy in Jerusalem. They made it clear that their motivation was not political, but spiritual.

As the Bible says:

“But to his son I will give one tribe, that My servant David may have a lamp always before Me in Jerusalem, the city where I have chosen for Myself to put My name.”
1 Kings 11:36

  • We pray that God will bless the nation of Papua New Guinea as they honour Him with both their words and their actions.
  • We pray the words of the Prime Minister will reach far and wide and open people’s eyes to the Biblical truth of Jerusalem and Israel.
  • We pray for unity between Christians and Jews.
  • We pray that many more Christian leaders will take a bold stand for Israel in the future.
  • We pray that the UK will also honour God by moving its embassy to Jerusalem.

We are also praying about the situation with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas who spread lies and distortions about Jews and the Holocaust, all of which have been debunked.

As the Bible says:

“A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own mind.” Proverbs 18:2

  • We pray that Abbas’s words will reveal to the world the antisemitism of Palestinian leaders and that this will stir up action to defend Israel.
  • We pray that God will continue to protect Israel from those who hate her.
  • We pray that Mahmoud Abbas will turn away from his hatred of Israel and instead recognise the God of Israel.

Thank you for praying with us today.

This year, we want to do more to bless Israel and the Jewish people.

We know that as we bless Israel this year, God will bless us, just as He promised in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Now is the time to bless Israel and the Jewish people.
