A delegation from CUFI UK was honoured to meet with Israeli Ambassador Taub in advance of our launch. Here is the article as reported by the Israeli Embassy (2 July):
“Pastor John Hagee met with Ambassador Taub last week in advance of the launch of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) in the UK. CUFI is the largest pro-Israel organisation in the United States, with over two million members. The Ambassador and Pastor Hagee discussed the importance of both Israel and the Jewish people to Christians around the world, and challenges facing Israel and the Jewish community in the UK.
“Almost 1000 people attended CUFI UK’s launch event, which took place in Westminster last weekend, and featured addresses from the Executive Director of CUFI, David Brog, the former Commander of British Forces in Afghanistan, Col. Richard Kemp CBE, and the Deputy Ambassador of Israel to the UK, Eitan Na’eh. CUFI UK is following up its launch with a prayer meeting in Golders Green in advance of a planned neo-Nazi demonstration this week.
