The IDF Navy is raising its level of vigilance and alertness in the Red Sea, according to the Jerusalem Post, because of the concern over Iranian aggression against vessels connected to the State of Israel.

In the past year, Iran has increased its presence in the Red Sea by placing military elements on civilian vessels. This issue causes concern in the Israeli security apparatus, but also in other countries for which the Red Sea is a maritime trade axis.

Earlier this month an Iranian drone targeted a tanker in the Arabian Sea owned by an Israeli company. There wasn’t a great deal of damage, but it’s clear Iran was both signaling their willingness to engage in such attacks and testing out their weapon.

China and Russia want to get their hands on Iranian drones, and both countries have conventional weapons they could sell to Iran that would dramatically increase the Tehran’s ability to wage conventional warfare.

This year, we want to do more to bless Israel and the Jewish people.

We know that as we bless Israel this year, God will bless us, just as He promised in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Now is the time to bless Israel and the Jewish people.
