In this Update we are glad to report on the growth of support for Israel and the impact CUFI-UK is making. We thank the Lord for this, and for your continued support and prayers, because the hatred towards Israel and the rise of other forms of anti-Semitism demands Christians to respond. Not only are we countering anti-Israel attitudes in the public sphere, but we recognise that even in the church, there is much to do in turning hearts towards standing with Israel. Thankfully things are beginning to change and we are grateful that you are part of this movement.
The Update also takes a look at what steps we have taken to counter the offensive, lie-based, ‘Israel Apartheid Week’, which is being marked across university campuses this month.
We also have a new way of participating in our #IamBalfour campaign, which we recently launched to celebrate the Centenary year of the signing of the Balfour Declaration. We would like to thank everyone that has signed so far. We now have a #IamBalfour declaration signing sheet, which enables you to share the campaign with friends and family. Please invite others to get involved and return to us when you are ready to do so. Also, everyone that signs the declaration can request a special #IAmBalfour declaration certificate to mark the Centenary in a personalised way.
